Working with me

Fully embracing the technology that is available to us is an essential requirement for those teachers and schools who want to ensure that teaching and learning remain relevant to our students in their increasingly digital lives.

As a Consultant, I bring many years’ experience in education as a teacher committed to transforming teaching and learning by using new and emerging technologies to improve motivation and engagement, as well as to raise achievement.

Clients have typically included school departments and leadership teams seeking to incorporate new and emerging technologies as a means to enhance both curriculum delivery and learning outcomes, organisers of educational events and conferences, publishing houses and INSET providers.

Speaking and training

I am passionate about sharing experiences and good practice with colleagues, fellow teachers and educators. Not only am I involved with Continuing Professional Development at my school, Nottingham High School, but I also lead external workshops, INSET, seminars and keynotes about the effective use of new technologies in the classroom.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to explore the possibility of my participation in any conferences or events you are organising.

Feedback

Very many thanks to you for your hard work, thoughtfulness and inspiration yesterday. I really appreciated both the realistic and reasoned way with which you framed the examples you shared with us, and your willingness to help and guide during the workshop sessions. You’ll be pleased to know that the feedback has been strong, and that colleagues are grateful for your input. It would be good to keep in touch, and I will certainly follow the website with interest.

Chris Jeffery - Headmaster of The Grange School http://www.grange.org.uk/

Today was a resounding success. 100% ratings for usefulness/helpfulness- for many it was the most successful part of the day.

Susan Pallister - Vice Principal of King Edward VI High School for Girls http://www.kehs.org.uk/

I would like to thank you for leading such an imaginative seminar which clearly held the interest of our members. We have been inundated with plaudits from those who attended your sessions.

David Levin - HMC Chairman and Headmaster of City of London School http://www.hmc.org.uk/

Thank you for giving up your precious time to educate all of us. I am running a boys' school and I am convinced that your approach to the teaching of Modern Languages is the right one and inspires boys. As you know, there may be a problem with the teaching of Modern Languages and boys! You appear to have cracked the challenge!

Andrew Hunter - Headmaster of Merchiston Castle School http://www.merchiston.co.uk/

The feedback that we have received from the delegates has been fantastic. Many thanks!

Roberto Conte - Linguascope http://www.linguascope.com

I'm writing to say a big thank you for all your help in making the Macmillan Teachers' Day in Barcelona such a success. The feedback from the event was very positive indeed and without the efforts from speakers like yourself this would not have been possible.
